How Noorani Qaida Is Taught Online
Noorani Qaida is the standard first step for reading the Quran. It teaches the Arabic letters, their sounds, and the signs that change them, in a carefully ordered sequence where each lesson depends on the one before. That is why it works so well for children and adult beginners alike.
In an online class your teacher shows each page on screen, points to the letter or word, and has you read it aloud. They listen to every sound and correct it on the spot. You then repeat the line until it is clean, and finish by reading the whole page without help.
We do not rush through the book. A student moves to the next lesson only when the current one is solid, because gaps at this stage cause reading problems later. Once the book is complete, students move on to our Quran reading course and then to Tajweed.
Parents of younger children are welcome to sit beside them. A small amount of home practice, even five to ten minutes a day, helps the sounds settle and shortens the time it takes to finish.
Because every sound is corrected live, bad habits never get the chance to settle. A child who learns a letter wrongly and is never corrected will repeat the same mistake for years, which is why one-to-one attention matters so much at this first stage. Our teachers also use encouragement and short rewards for young students, so the lessons feel like achievement rather than pressure. When the final page is complete, many families celebrate the milestone before the student begins reading the Quran itself.
