Quran Memorization Program

Online Hifz Classes with Certified Teachers

Commit the Holy Quran to memory with a structured, one-to-one plan: new lessons, daily revision and Tajweed correction, all from home on a schedule that suits you.

What Is Hifz?

Hifz means memorizing the Quran by heart. Millions of Muslims have preserved the words of Allah this way for over fourteen centuries. Success in Hifz depends on three things: a steady daily routine, careful revision, and a teacher who corrects you as you recite.

The best among you are those who learn the Quran and teach it. - Sahih al-Bukhari

How Our Hifz Program Works

The proven three-part method used in Hifz schools, adapted for live online classes

Sabaq (New Lesson)

A small, achievable portion of new verses each class, recited and corrected with your teacher.

Sabqi (Recent Revision)

Revisiting the last several days of lessons so new memorization is firmly anchored.

Manzil (Long-Term Revision)

A rotating cycle through older Surahs so nothing memorized is lost over time.

Tajweed Correction

Every verse is memorized with correct Makharij and rules, so you preserve accurate recitation.

A Memorization Plan Built Around You

Memorizing the Quran is a long journey, and the students who finish are not always the quickest memorizers. They are the ones who revise every day and have a teacher who keeps them steady. Our Hifz program is built around that idea.

Every lesson has three parts: a small new portion (Sabaq), a review of the last few days (Sabqi), and a rotating review of older Surahs (Manzil). Your teacher listens to all three live, corrects your pronunciation and Tajweed as you recite, and adjusts the size of the next lesson to what you can retain.

Before you begin you will have a free assessment so the teacher can hear your recitation. A student with weak Tajweed is guided to strengthen it alongside memorization, because errors learned during Hifz are hard to unlearn later.

Hifz Program by Level

Hifz students begin at different points. Here is how we structure the journey; your plan will be personal.

Level 1

Starting Hifz

Build the habit with short Surahs while recitation is refined.

  • Recitation assessment and Tajweed correction
  • Juz Amma, starting from the shorter Surahs
  • Daily revision routine and how to prepare a lesson
  • Understanding the Sabaq, Sabqi, and Manzil system

Typically 3 to 6 months, depending on age and pace

Level 2

Steady Memorization

Consistent daily progress through the middle portion of the Quran.

  • Daily new lesson sized to your retention
  • Structured revision of every Juz memorized
  • Linking verses and avoiding common mix-ups (Mutashabihat)
  • Monthly review and progress report

Varies by student; many families plan in terms of years

Level 3

Completion and Retention

Finish the Quran and keep it strong for life.

  • Final Juz and complete-Quran revision cycles
  • Reciting long portions in a single sitting
  • Test-style recitation with a different teacher, if you wish
  • A long-term plan for revision after completion

Depends on the earlier levels and daily commitment

How Long Will It Take?

Hifz is measured in years, not weeks, and no honest teacher can give you one date. What we can say is what the pace depends on.

  • Daily practice at home matters more than the number of classes per week
  • Age, prior Quran reading, and the time you can give each day all change the pace
  • Children usually memorize a little at a time and revise it often
  • Your teacher will set a realistic target after the free trial and review it monthly

Who Is This Course For?

  • Children aged 5 and up who read Arabic and can focus in short sessions
  • Teens who want to start or finish Hifz alongside school
  • Adults who want to memorize with a flexible schedule
  • Students who have memorized some of the Quran and want to revise and complete it
  • Families who want to keep a child on a steady Hifz path while living far from a local Hifz school

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to read the Quran fluently before starting Hifz?
Yes, being able to read the Quran with basic Tajweed makes memorization much smoother. If you are not there yet, our Noorani Qaida and Quran reading courses prepare you, and you can move into Hifz afterwards.
How long does it take to memorize the Quran?
It varies widely with the student's age, daily time commitment and revision habits. Your teacher will set a realistic plan after your free trial and adjust it as you progress.
Can I memorize only certain Surahs or Juz?
Absolutely. Many students begin with Juz Amma and short Surahs, or memorize specific Surahs, before deciding on a full Hifz journey.
Are Hifz classes one-to-one?
Yes. Classes are live and one-to-one so the teacher can hear every verse you recite and correct mistakes immediately. Male and female teachers are available.
How does revision work?
Every class combines a new lesson with revision of recent and older portions. Revision is what makes memorization last, so it is built into your plan from the start.
How long does it take to memorize the whole Quran?
It depends on age, daily time, and revision. Hifz is usually measured in years. Your teacher will set a realistic target after the free trial and review it monthly.
Can my child do Hifz alongside school?
Yes. Many students memorize after school with a short daily lesson and revision. Class times are flexible.
Does my child need to read Arabic first?
Yes, a student should be able to read the Quran with reasonable fluency. If not, start with Noorani Qaida or the Quran reading course and begin Hifz when ready.
Why is daily revision so important?
Without regular revision, memorized verses fade. Revision is built into every lesson through Sabqi and Manzil, and we ask students to revise at home each day.
